Hey I was looking at the excel spreadsheet and cross referencing with my service manual. You have Pin 45 listed on the OBDI plug to Pin 37 on the OBDII plug. Is this a mistake as from my diagram, pin 45 is not used by the computer. Any clarification would be great.

If you don't have an A/C FICD, then you can leave that out with no problems. Even if you connect it, you will not have any issues at all.

I just finished making one and it would would definetly be worth paying for. I did it so I don't have to buy an ecu for the u13 de going in my b14. The extra bennifit will be having the daughter board done by Calum when my b14 get the old turbo off the rb20. Yeah, one car get a new turbo and the other gets a turbo kit. Awesome.
any update on wiring the consult functionality ? I got started on making my plug and I dont want to cut it out if possible...
My suggestion would be to crimp on male and female plug ends to the three wires. I will PM you the two possible wiring scenarios, that way if one does not work, the other can be easily tried by just unplugging and re-plugging.
Any way to get one that is OBDII to OBDII so that I can use it strictly to tap into for my safc. I don't want to mess with my car harness.
Sure, if you want. I think that it would be a lot easier for you to just splice into your harness, it's not very difficult. But if you'd rather not, then I can make you one. Just PM me and let me know..........

It is just alot easier for me to do it inside at my desk rather than sitting on the floor of the cold garage during winter etc.. pm sent
I'm curious about these adaptors. You say I can give you my old 1.6L from my "92 sentra" and a ECU out of a 95-97 OBDII car and you can hook this up for $130? Don't all the products have the be manual to work on a manual car? Would (auto) harness wires work? I heard that the "95 200sx SE-R" was OBDI and that the "94 SE-R" uses a different wiring harness because of it being a LOWPORT. I thought OBDI was ODBI I wasn't sure about this when I read that in a thread.

Its mass production man. Nissan didnt want to make 800 different kinds of harnesses, that would be expensive. So theres two kinds of harnesses. The wires are all there for all the possible options. Hes got plenty of good feedback on these, check it out. gl.

These adapters work awesome! We have made a few now and so far so good. It's alot easier than changing out your wiring harness, then trying to figure out the under dash wiring. Read through the thread, it will show you what you need to know.

You're looking at it from a programming standpoint. It's only a wiring harness adapter. The plugs for automatics and manuals are the same.

When I say "OBDI style plug," I mean the style of plug that came out of a 91-94 sentra. When I say "OBDII style plug," I mean the style of plug that came out of a 95-99. Trust me, this product works and all of the information in the original post is correct. I use one in my daily driver and others use them as well.
