I researched the consult wires last nite based on the service manual of a 99G20 and a 91 service manual. Wire 7 goes to 64, 14 goes to 68, 15 goes to 65. 23 is another consult wire which doesnt get used on the OBDII plug... leaving 4 wires that are unused on the OBDI plug.
In regards to those who used the harness, I tried starting my car with the 91 ecu and the idle stays pretty high at 2300rpm... Let it run for a minute only. Since mine is a 99, is it necessary to disconnect the MAP sensor? or anything else? Or adjust the timing and idle for the new ecu?

The vehicle does not have a MAP sensor. You do not need to disconnect anything, the idle is unrelated to the wiring harness adapter. It may be idling high for warm up and will probably drop after operating temperature is achieved.

Coalition, what's the final word on the consult port? Can you use the NisdataScan Display Module with the adapter?
No final word yet. I have heard of about 4-5 different people saying that they wired it up for CONSULT but no one follows up and says whether or not it works.

Let's say my 1.6L which is a (auto), would I just need to give you the wiring harness from my (auto) 1.6L and a (manual) ECU from a 91-93 Highport SE-R or would you need my 1.6L ECU as well?

...and if your hard wiring a consult adapter into the adapter harness directly splice (note: do NOT plug a consult device into the real consult port if you've hardwired a consult box into your adapter harness, that would be silly!):

I don't understand what you are asking, can you re-phrase that?

Sorry that was typed weird. I have a 1.6L and I want to know what I would need to supply for you to make a harness for $130 for a (manual) Highport sr20de in the future?

1.)My 1.6L engine harness?
2.)A manual 91-93 ECU?
What are you wanting to accomplish? I have to understand what it is that you are trying to do in order to help you. I don't do 1.6 to 2.0 conversion adapters.

O.....My bad Coalition, I thought you could use the wiring harness from a 1.6L and rewire it to fit a 91-93 ECU on a sr20de...sorry for the confusion. I misunderstood you a bit. I need to read this thread from the begining.

I can use a 1.6 plug to make the adapter, but you have to run an SR20 harness. Again, what is it that you want to accomplish? By that I mean what year car do you have, what harness are you running, and what ECU is it that you are wanting to run? I have to know this stuff in order to answer questions. I get untold numbers of PMs and stuff each day about these adapters so I apologize if you have told me before and I forgot.
