I have decided to offer these plugs for sale after making a few for other forum members by request. These plugs are made to order and for that reason, turnaround time averages around 1.5 to 2 weeks if customer provides donor parts.
These OBDII to OBDI adapter plugs enable B14 owners to run an ECU with the OBDI style plug without changing out their stock wiring harness or sensors. They are designed for simple plug and play use--no additional wiring is necessary. Great for folks doing DET swaps that want to run factory DET ECUs or people who just want to run a plain old OBDI ECU in their B14. The construction is very solid, wire leads coming from the OBDII side are potted with a very hard 2-part epoxy and all connections between the two plugs are soldered. No crimps or butt connectors are used.
These adapter plugs are made using the connector out of an OBDII ECU as well as the connector off of an OBDI wiring harness. For that reason, customers have been mailing me those items to avoid core charges. For general purposes though, I have listed all pricing below in case someone did not provide the donor parts.
--Adapter Plug Pricing (B14 to B13 style)--
1. If customer provides OBDII ECU and OBDI harness: $160 shipped (most common)
2. If customer provides OBDII ECU only: no longer an option
3. If customer provides OBDI harness only: no longer an option
4. If I have to source both the OBDII ECU and OBDI harness: no longer an option
Also available is the B15/P11 to B14 adapter which enables folks with B15's or P11's to run a B14 ECU in their car with a minimal of work. It does require the customer to run one wire in their engine compartment to the distributor upon installation.
--Adapter Plug Pricing (B15/P11 to B14 style)--
1. Customer must provide B15/P11 ECU and B14 harness plug: $190 shipped
Please PM me if you are interested in a plug. Money orders and Paypal are accepted payments. The list of useable ECUs and wiring harnesses is below along with a picture of the finished product. Any other questions, just let me know.
EDIT: CONSULT functionality now available! Thanks to Calum and Suckit for confirming the CONSULT wiring!
Useable OBDI wiring harnesses: 91-94 Sentra, 91-93 NX, 90-94 Pulsar GTi-R, 89-95 Bluebird, or 91-93 G20. It does not matter if it came out of any of the aforementioned cars equipped with a 1.6 or 2.0.
Useable OBDII ECUs: 95-99 Sentra, 95-98 200SX, 95-99 Altima, 94-96 and 99 G20, or 95-98 240SX. Again the type of motor in these vehicles is insignificant.

Doesnt OBD1 have more options as far as programing compared to OBD2? A friend of my who is into Cyclones/typhoons and GN has always said OBD1 is better because the programing can be "cracked" easier, thats why the LS1 and Honda guys go back to OBD1.

Sure does. But if you're going to do a JWT ECU anyways, this is a waste of money for you. If you want to tune your own ecu through Calum, this is a great option.

I had JWT, and with the new car, Im open to options. This might be waht Im looking for after I get her running.
I deal with alot of junyard stuff and I think I can get alot of OBD1 harnesses. As most companies cut the harness when they pull the motors out.
I also think I can get OBD2 ECUs at a good price
I will contact you CoalitionSE-L
That would be very cool, PM me and let me know what you can do. Thanks.
If someone was planing to use a JWT ecu, is there any advantage to going to OBD1 in a B14?
Thanks and bump for a nice looking product.
Thanks TUNED200. The primary reasons why someone would want this adapter are as follows:
1. Someone with a B14 doing a DET swap that got a factory DET ECU with their engine. Instead of paying $500 or more for a JWT or other engine management, they can purchase the adapter and a JDM O2 sensor and be up and running for under $200.
2. Someone wanting to eliminate the added sensors associated with OBDII, and run an OBDI ECU (which in some cases also has a more aggressive tune as well).
3. Someone wanting to run one of Calum's tuned ECU's, which are quite a bargain compared to JWT's. These are only available in the OBDI ECU's.
4. Someone wanting to tune their own ECU with the Moates or similar chip burners. Right now, there only seem to be daughterboards available for OBDI ECU's.
There are probably other reasons why this adapter would be useful, but these are what I believe to be the primary reasons.
