Project: VEMS installation

I'll start off by posting my project. You can expect tuning tips, hints, tables, maps, etc. from me in the very near future. I'm towards the end of installing VEMS (stand alone engine management). I've got a few things to work out, but the car has been running and driving for weeks now.

I should do a proper write-up here, but as it stands all the progress is hosted at the terrific VEMS forum run by Rob. I have tons more pictures ready to host when I get the time. Check out my progress there at this link:

If you're really interested, I've been doing VEMS on two cars. Check out my friend's BMW too if you'd like:

Thanks Ben! You Rock!

Very accurate write-up!
Your work explains the entire process of thought and theory regarding the system, clear and concise. The fact you had an issue and worked it out through real R&D, speaks volumes about the value of these groups and the quality of the people behind the scenes.

I'm sure glad I didn't sell my spare dizzy!!!

Good to hear someone's gained something by reading that 12 page monstrosity. =]

You didn't read it all, did you?

I'm still tweaking things and posting on the progress... So it's not over yet if you're looking for more installments.

Oh, and I have TONS and TONS of pictures and even some videos I've yet to post. =D
