SAFC Setup qustion

Ok Ive got a Calum ECU thats tuned for every mod that will be on my car. I got an SAFC for fine tuning that. But can I hook the SAFC up and not make any adjustments yet and everything run fine? Or does hooking up an SAFC require that I adjust everything right then or it wont run right/at all?

When you first activate the safc all the settings should be at o. Which pritty much means that the calum ecu should not even see or (reconize) that the safc is hooked up untill you alter a setting on the safc. All in all I say that it should run fine without ajustments.

You will have to setup certain things, but you won't have to make any fuel adjustments. You will have to setup for 4 cylinder, hotwire maf, voltage in and out for the maf, and some other stuff possibly. So yes and no. good luck.

Basically the SAFC just modifies what the ECM is already seeing, and by default it's set not to modify anything until you tell it to, so you should be fine (correct me if I'm wrong.)

Got it set up and running! 4 Cyl, Rising TPS, Hotwire Maf.

The in and out voltage for the maf shouldnt even have to be messed with at all unless you have a maf that the comp isnt programmed for.

Thanks guys
