I'm not sure you understand what's going on with the voltage. Your alternator regulates it's output voltage, and is probably failing, causing the low voltage. As for ECUs working with low voltage, that shouldn't be a problem. The problem comes in when ignition and fuel delivery is concerned. With lower voltage, you may misfire often, but more likely, your fuel injectors aren't opening as quickly as they should, so you're probably running very lean during idle/cruising.

I could go on, but that's the gist of it.

thanks for the input... any reason why the JWT voltage is only at 11.4v and the emance ecu reads 14.3v? voltage readings are via the AFC
