Nissan Primera p11 throttle body modi !!

I owe a nissan primera p11 1.6 lt and I'm thinking to upgrade / tune the throttle body. I'm thinking of a nissan 2.4lt altima throttle body (cable throttle) but I'm not sure whether it will do, due to the throttle position sensor compatibility with my qg16 engine that I have.
What should I pay attention to ?
Nissan throttle body codes ?
Any ideas ?

Thanks

I'm affraid to disappoint you but a friend that put q qr25 throttle body to his almera N16 had a very very noticeable difference. I was in the car before and after the installation and the car was much quicker. Besides, even if you really think about it, there is more air coming in = more gas = more power.

I have doubts about that. What was the size difference between the two, just out of curiosity?

I think it was of the order of 1 cm, but I might be wrong on that. I mean 1cm in diameter.

Your talking serious mods to get the value of this unit, in my opinion.

Start with a big turbo, them work backwards, not with the intake size.
It really doesn't matter that much, unle$$ you are dead $eriou$ about the re$t of the build.

Messing with the heads via compression, valve and sleeve size nets power, if you use a machine shop with a torque plate, to squeeze your head during the machining. Now you're into major block upgrades, to flow this thing.
Great mod, for an alcohol injected fire breathing dragon, but you'll need a fat exhaust. you'll run out of injector before you get anything worth bragging about from this.

Not for street mods.
No gains, yields nothing but slight throttle response improvement.

Unless it's free and you have a programmable ECU, and a fat exhaust, don't wast your money.
Intake really doesn't matter that much. Neither does porting the heads.

Big valves, cams, springs and compression, now that's different. Now you need this unit.

Buy headers and get an air intake and call it a day, (or go $turbo$)

Good luck.
