I see cars on here everyday that aren't even running blow through that are vta. My car runs like ass any time there is a leak so I don't know how they do it.

Put the maf (or map) or whatever it is you are using to measure air right in front of the throttle body so that is the last thing the air will encounter before going into intake. You don't want to let unmeasured air into your motor, especially if you are boosting.
A map is a Mass air Pressure sensor. It reads the air pressure inside the intake tube. It's alternate to a maf but you need an ECU that can read it.

You ideally want the maf in a straight path of air, as far away from bends as possible. On a B chassis car that would be after the cold side intercooler bend, and before the 90* bend into the throttle body.
Not with any of the current plug & play ECU solutions available, though you could run a blowthrough MAF setup, and VTA.

I've read about systems that run off just the tachometer and a throttle position sensor, the idea being that you can guesstimate the amount of air coming in, and add a bit of extra petrol to err on the side of caution...
I know that these aren't very practical for road (change altitude and the ambient pressure changes, and your guesstimate gets shot), and I guess the same would be true for changing gears with a blow off...
Chriscar is that why you discounted it, or are these systems not commonly available over there? Not trying to be smart or anything, just curious...

your talking about a speed density setup old school efi systems used...
can a stock Nissan draw through maf handle a boosted blow through setup? seems there's alot more to it than all of that I dunno.
You can get a mafia which converts a MAP sensor signal to a maf signlal to run with your stock ecu...
