Hot sun, hot races, hot babes and perfect routine at 1on1's "On the
Line" July 12/13.
The timing system worked flawless all weekend. With almost the whole
1on1 team on site there were quartermile runs offered to exhaustion of
the drivers. Every driver was able to test on the track as often as
wanted, for example startnumber 181 made 67 runs, in total there was
almost 700 starts all weekend. Understandable that some drivers wanted
to give their cars and themselves a break in the afternoon.
The team kept up its pace, so there was unused capacity for well over
1000 starts during the weekend. Breaks weren't caused by the equipment,
but the delays until the drivers lined up for their next run. The number
one generator overheated on Sunday, which was quickly fixed by switching
to the backup generator until the scheduled end of the event at 0400pm.
There was nice, fast and interesting cars at the track, and again "On
the Line" many drivers were able to drive personal records for reaction
time, E/T or top speed. Statistical data is listed below, pictures are
available in the gallery. The 1on1-team hopes that all drivers had a
safe trip home - and to see everybody in August at "Get U Sum"!
