Hi, I'm new to SR motors so PLEASE HELP!!! I bought a 94 b13 with a rod knock. Car sat for 2 years and I never start car to really hear. Bought block from buddy and put everything together cleaned rocker arm oil hole and pulled and primed lifters and swap in 91 cams. Start it next day and VERY LOUD TICK you can hear the car coming down the road its so loud. The timing chain was not broke or out of time before head swap. Is it possible to just bend a valve without chain breaking? My buddy said its not the chain or rod knock its something inside the head. All I did was put 91 cams lowport. The car runs great pulls like it should just ticks. I have used lifters with about 70k miles should I swap them?

i had this car turbo'd with a GT3076 turbo, but wanted to see how it performs
with a supercharger, so i purchased a ProCharger P1SC and made a custom bracket to fit into my B14, i have seen many posts being negative about supercharged sr20de-t's, but i want to twin charge this thing also by adding a pte 6766/gtx42/ or borgwarner s400 for higher top end without having much lag on the low end. currently i have the P1SC running at 11 psi, but with a 30 psi pulley, it should be making ~800 +/- BHP. motor is fully build, i had a post along time ago in the classified section with this car for sale, but now i have other plans for it :)

I have read through this thread and think I have some information, but I'm not sure it entirely applies to my situation.

The rubber grommet on the brake pedal broke, I got a replacement from dealership for 4 bucks, put it in, so I thought everything is great. The brake lights were stuck on no matter what, even parked with no key in. At that point I thought that tells me the switch is good. So after I got the grommet replaced, the brake lights work correctly. That makes me still think the switch is good.

Cruise control doesn't work since this problem started to happen though. I have no issues with the sensor on the clutch. the car starts. These switches aren't easy to get to but I have made sure the 2 plungers I found aren't stuck, every (three I found) grommet on the clutch appears to be making good contact and everything I found is plugged in.

I don't think the switch can make the lights work correctly but still cause the cruise to have an issue. I could be wrong, I'm not an electrical genius. I would like as much advice as I can get about this. I don't use the cruise often but when I do I want it to work.
