any interest in supercharged sr20de setup from former sentra?

thought I'd see if anyone would be interested...

full setup includes engine with attachments (custom aluminum intake, customized distr. to work with megasquirt, supercharger, better injectors, megasquirt ECU and wiring, and of course intercooler and piping)

Price is $2k for the setup

If seriously interested, LMK and I can get pics and more details.

This is the supercharged engine setup ONLY and does NOT include a car or transmission just in case I'm not being clear...

LINK to old post for when it was in the sentra (That sentra is being turned into an ITA/PTE w2w car so the supercharged setup has to go)

It was running rich when switched onto supercharger (never lean) and only up to about 255hp (conservative) and no, never did make it to a dyno to tune better/get higher hp, etc...

we were waiting to get a better tranny that never happened.. as it was it was spinning in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear and could even get spinning in 4th gear if you wanted (too much HP for the wussy b14 tranny)

Was there any physical modification done to the block at all to fit the supercharger? If you don't sell the complete set up would you split ALL the supercharger bits? (everything to make it work on another motor) Im interested in a Supercharged SR20 but i want to stick it on a 4wd P10 Motor.

no, there was ZERO modification done to the sr20de block.. the modification was done in the form of a bracket where the A/C bracket used to be but nothing was done to the block itself. also a modification to the intake that attaches to the block.

so Yes, I could sell just the bits to attach to the block I suppose...

The intake WAS modified so I'd have to sell the intake (lower and upper), distributor and MSD ignition, custom piping, intercooler, megasquirt, wiring, supercharger and injectors I suppose....

lol

you could indeed to this and we toyed with the idea ourselves before selling our b15 SE BUT we have ZERO time to do this for someone else with all our other projects (still have to swap motors in our p10 track car thanks to a missed shift incident scrambling the current engine rendering it useles, rebuild the 94 sentra SE-R track beastie and get it painted etc... -- only a shell right now, new roof for the house (involves complete tear down and fixing many items), suspension change on the miata, timing belt and water pump on the miata, exhaust on the miata, fix A/C on the truck, install gooseneck hitch on truck.. and the list goes on and on and on PLUS he still does the local tire side work right now )

so a big reason why this setup is for sale in the first place is there simply is NO time within the next year for us to feasibly re-install this in any of our cars.. doh! (cause at one time the intent was to put in in our track p10 too)

That would probably work pretty good on a VE setup.
GL with the sale.
Bump.

ok cool, it just looks like it hits. How much do you want for both sc flanges? and the SC? and are the flanges aluminum or steel?

its custom aluminum (custom done w/tig welding of course)

..your talking about all the piping, right?

so your interested in the supercharger and piping setup (NOT the intercooler, engine itself, custom intake, custom modified distributor, megasquirt or injectors!) Right?

here from when it was installed (all the piping and rubber fittings)

I've had this sitting around for a while obviously in storage. The engine itself is worth maybe $300 tops to be honest (its not anything special and just an sr20de motor w/114k miles on it now)

At this point I'd be willing to sell the full setup of piping, supercharger itself, custom intake, custom distributor and ignition along with megasquirt, wiring harness and intercooler for $1600 (this leaves out the engine itself and injectors only)

I'm really not interested in selling off ONLY the supercharger and 1 custom flange though (sorry). At most I'd consider selling the piping setup with supercharger and custom intake and without the intercooler itself but that seems pointless since the piping is custom made to work with this intercooler!

I want to sell either complete assembled as shown or just the components that make it supercharged is where I'm gettting at. I realize it gets very cost prohibitive to ship the engine too so without engine itself is what I was considering doing but people who were interested were expecting support for install (not possible and no interest in the time needed to do this) so that's simply not part of the deal. I've already talked 4 people out of buying this setup because of it (I don't need to ruin my 100% positive rep because someone expected a simple plug and play system and/or 24/7 install support which I am not providing).

If you don't have know-how on doing this, please don't consider buying it from me. This is not like a repeat mass produced Supercharged miata kit that is just install and go.. there is some tuning needed, etc. This is a 1 of a kind deal folks.. It worked, I know it worked.. and have witnesses to it working so I have confidence in selling it but I'm not the one who did all the fabrication much less the install or even the tuning. I just drive!

FYI:

Because of shipping expenses, willing to remove all the supercharger associated parts and sell everything needed minus the engine itself for $1800 plus ship charges so you would get the following:

- M45 Eaton Supercharger
- custom piping (aluminum and rubber connectors)
- Intercooler
- custom intake (upper and lower)
- customized distributor and MSD Ignition
- Megasquirt with printouts I have along with the modded wiring harness
- fuel rail w/green injectors (440cc IIRC)

Update for 2013.. the engine is no longer available and this is a kit ONLY for $1800 now (no engine available at all!)

Here is what you get if you want to buy this now in 2013---->

Here we are in 2013 Everyone..

For 2013, this is what you'd get for $1800:

The 'kit' for $1800 includes the following:

- Injector rail w/green injectors (440cc IIRC)
- megasquirt and wiring and paperwork I have with it
- custom distributor and msd ignition
- custom fabricated bracket for the supercharger
- all the custom piping
- the intercooler
- the Eaton M45 supercharger
- The custom made intake with throttle cable

PLEASE PLEASE Understand that the above is for someone who has the skill-set to reinstall and tune it properly. There will be no 'consulting services' included and my husband will not be helping anyone install this. You can buy it and ask me questions I won't know the answer to because I'm the girl who enjoyed driving it but did not create, fabricate, tune and install it! ...I will not be able to help.. My husband does not have time or energy to help (thus the whole reason for the sale in the 1st place!!!)
