what kind of bearings did you use? did you get the grades off the cradle/block (can't remember) and order them from nissan? did you plastigauge them?

i used factory bearings. the grades of the bearing was determine by the crank numbers + Block Numbers. I ordered them from gspec. yes, i did use plastigauge for the rebuild.

Sorry to grill you. I'm kinda on a mission to figure out why people are blowing up their "freshly rebuilt engines". I think people are just throwing whatever bearings they can find in there, and if it turns over they assume it's fine. I'm sure it will work out fine for the next owner.

i didn't blow the motor. i order it from tiger japanese and i wanted a fresh new motor with new bearing and rings. lucky i did that because the 1 cylinder rings were bad. i like to do everything right. i dont like to do things half ass. this was really my back up motor because i have 87mm piston and block that i was planning to once i had the stock one break in.

I didn't say you blew it up. I've seen like 10 threads on here where someone JUST rebuilt the motor or a shop did and they blew up within 1000 miles.

I'm deff interested . So this is a long block assembly ? And if soo does it come with intake manifold and also what headgasket is on there . I'm 100% interested and not just window shopping . Let me know -Keith
