Thumbs up 2007 forum update

Happy New Year!

The last couple of days I've been hard at work on this forum update. We are now running the latest version of vBulletin. There have been significant changes "under the hood" but here are a few of the improvements you should be aware of:

* Quote multiple posts in your replies.
You are now able to quote multiple people at one time when replying. In order to use this handy feature, simply click the multi-quote button in each post you want to quote. When you click the reply button, all the posts you selected will be quoted. Please note, this DOES NOT work with the quick reply.

* Infraction/warning system. When banning is too much and a private message isn't enough. There is now a 3 strikes policy. Each warning is worth a point. After 3 strikes, you will be automatically banned for 30 days. Warnings can be viewed by anyone. If you have a warning, it will be visible to all on your user profile page. In addition, when you are warned a discussion thread is automatically created for all moderators to see. This will prevent abuse.

**The moderation notification feature listed previously is not available. That was posted too soon.

A few other smaller changes have been made but things should generally behave the same. Please report any problems to me. Thank you for your support and have a great 2007!

Not on the forum much lately since neck injury - we'll be back at it soon, babying the n00bies.

JWT S4, HS 6, Home Depot Intake, Hypercoil 2s w/ KYB "GR-Poo", CF Sunroof Delete panel, and other crap - where's my interior?

Sorry to be a downer Matt, but I don't think the new masthead is working.

Plus it makes everyone's stickers obsolete!

What were you expecting?

Edit: Typical designer response. I deal with your kind all the time.

I wasn't trying to be harsh...it's just that the new type treatment isn't better, more representative or more attractive.

It's just different.

At least let me take the same type treatment and polish it up a little. At the very least kern the thing.
