log in trouble

I cant seem to log in lately. Its a problem that needs fixed. I enter my user name and password around 8 times before it shows up as logged in. I try clicking on different sections of the forum to see if it will log me in and most times it does not.

thanks

I dont think so. I remember there being a thread about that a while back. I have similar (but not quite the same) problems too. I got a new laptop and I have it set to keep me logged on but every time I go to www.sr20forum.com it has me as logged off. However whenever I click on any subforum, I am logged on, so its not a big deal.
Contact one of the admins if you are having trouble logging on. IIRC they should be able to help

does the same thing to me but after i loggin and it loads the main page again I click on a thread link and it loads fine.

It's a browser caching issue that has to do with the code of the fourm (vBulletin). I see it sometimes with other forums I create.

It does not allow me to log in easily. If I click on the link when it says click here if your page does not forward it works. If I allow it to load normally it won't log in even when I click on sub-forums.

This server will be getting a fresh OS reinstall soon when I move it to a new data center. I'm hoping this issue will be tackled for good after the move and upgrade.

This also happens to me when I use my desktop computer with an old version of firefox. When I am on my laptop with the newest version of firefox, I don't have any problem

I also get this problem using both IE6 and IE 7 so I doubt its the browser.

What I found works is when you log in, click the "REMEMBER ME" box. then log in as usual. It will appear as if you are still logged out until you click a section then it will show your username as being logged in.

I never have a single problem logging in, and I am using Firefox/2.0.0.4. I notice the problem occurs at my workplace where they are still using Internet Explorer 6. I have to login a few times before it actually registers I'm logged in.
