Server problems 10/21-10/22

Came into work this morning and the server was trying to reboot but there was a floppy in the drive so it was stuck. Took floppy out, let it bootup and it worked pretty much. Would only get me to the admin forum no matter what forum I clicked on. Then I used the dropdown box at the bottom to choose a forum and now it works fine. ???

If Matt would just leave the server alone and stop trying to "IMPROVE" it...

ohh no wonder it was down, i was up at 4 am and yeah i got sad *** the forum was down

who knew this forum would mean so much to me

Ben - couldn't get in touch with you last night...
The restart thing is my fault...

Starting at 6ish maybe? The server was display really wierd things, no matter what you clicked you got something wierd.... I was seeing other people's PM's and it was saying that I was logged on as other users. I saw nothing out of the ordinary process wise (CPU usage was low, nothing was hogging a ton of memory) so I figured I'd give it a reboot (worst case I didn't think it was cool for people to see other people's PM's).

The only email addy I have for you is the @sr20deforum.com which I knew wasn't going to work...

My bad - PM me with some "emergency forum is broken contact phone #'s" hehehehe

Forum looks ok now - that was an odddddd problem last night.

I was working on a few things at that time- I could've bumped something. But I was keeping an eye on things as far as I could tell... then the server went away.

More changes to come. I'm really wanting to get these classifieds online... Oh wait this is a public forum, I won't talk about anything else. hehe
