The definition of a forum is "a medium of open discussion or voicing of ideas, such as a newspaper or a radio or television program." It was never supposed to be about avatars, signature pictures, or catch phrases below your screen name, its about the content and professionalism you can get from experienced vets on problems, issues, and ideas for your vechile.
I find it quite sad, that there appears to be such an uproar over this small issue. I figure many people forget that there is probably a good sized porition of the forum that still browses at 28.8/56K modem speeds, do we really want to shut these people out of the forum? Personally I support the idea of the removal of signature pictures, many forums have done it before and continue to run in a normal fashion. If it allows the moderators and administrator to better keep an eye on the content of the site then I consider it a blessing.
Don't stop there, why not eliminate the use of the signature all together? Better yet, lets not have custom user names, lets go by the numerical order in which we signed up to the forum.
Great Idea.... Threads were getting to be a mile long after all the signatures. I know people love to show off there cars, but wasn't that what the Member Rides Forum was for?

Really bummed but hey, I understand why they did this. If you look at other forums, there is all sorts of BS sigs there. Your forum admins are still doing a kick butt job!
