11 stiches is nothing.
Any update on the knee-cap problem Stevie ??? ???
GREG, wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery and please... get rid of this moped or whatever it is you are (pretending to be) riding !!!
Well, I'm back on the computer today. My knee cap isn't broken, which is good, but it hurts like a mother. But my wifey keeps feeding me Vicodin, so I'm doing allright!
Stevie went to the desert for the weekend with his friends family, and they offered to take my bike so I could drive my b13 down, ride, and go home. Just for the day like. So I drive the b13 to the desert. Man, the car is running great, good power, good sounds in the canyons, scaring the sh*t out of old people when the cams kick on just as you pass them, all good stuff.
So we're on our first ride and we're on this kind of Sand Highway and me and Stevie are riding towards the back when the 3 year old in front of us hits this gnarly big rock, flips over the handlebars, the bike flips over and lands on him! So I don't want to hit him and I grab brake, I just grab toooo much front brake. As I pick my self up and look at my knee, I go "Oh sh*t, this is bad" My knee is so tore up, it's got a dime size piece missing, and looks like a bad gun-shot or something. So long story short, I tie a t-shirt around it, ride the 15 miles back to camp, get in the B13 and drive 90 miles back to the hospital near my house. You know, where they know me from the other motorcycle accidents. So anyway, I was layed up good Sat, Sun and Monday. Tues started getting around, and today found out it's not broken and I'm back to work. Though I do lie down on occaision (pain + vicodin = peacefull little nap)
Thanks for your concern, I'm DONE with motorcycles. All the major injuries to my body have been because of motorcycles. I've never been injured in a car accident. Been unconcious for 30 minutes, but never injured.
Anyone want a 2002 Honda 919 or a 1996 DR650S? They're going soon.

I gave up the street bike and dirt bike and picked up a B13 due to injuries and near death occurances with cars... that was 5 years ago and haven't looked back since
