I recently had my tint removed on my sentra and had a newer darker tint put on, but the shop ripped off a lot of the back defrost strips. I have a question, can this be fixed? Do I have to buy a new windshield? What is the cost of a brand new back windshield? I will have them pay for it that is why I want a brand new one. Please let me know.
Thanks Greg,
Do you guys not have access to order a new rear windshield for my B13? Just wondering, if you dont have a price can you just tell me and maybe help on where I could get a price quote?
I had the same thing happen to my B13 SE-R. Living in Texas and now Northern California, I don't miss the defroster, but I can see how it could be a problem up in Washington.
While shopping a local autoparts store, I've seen kits that allow you to "paint" the copper lines back on to the rear window, thereby restoring the electrical connection which was scraped away. I have no idea how well it works, but I would be sigificantly cheaper than a new rear window if it does. If not, try picking up a rear window at a local salvage yard. OEM glass, if available, will not be cheap.
Good Luck,

He's right. It's the best thing to try first. Big pain, but...
about $200 your price for the rear window.
