Do you have a dedicated car work space?

Just curious who is forced to work on their car in an apartment complex parking lot and who has single or multi-car garages for their money pits.

Got both, large heated garage with a workbench, and large driveway.

I've moved a few times in the last couple of years, and essentially, all I look for now is a garage that has some rooms attached to it.

i do my sh*t on my front driveway...its ok most of the time...depending on what im doing. if i need to do something that requires a lot of work/tools, it sucks *** i have to take all the tools outside and do all the work, then when im done, i have to pick everything back up and take it back inside and whatnot...pretty gay. oh and greg, thats my 7up on the trunk of your car

It all depends, i have several cars in storage the garage at my mom's house, but that's 3 hours away, so I'm stuck garageless in an apt. it really sucks, since I live on the 8th floor, and I don't wanna store all my tools in my car.

I have a two-car garage, but since I'm a nice guy my wife gets half of it, my S13 the other half, and my daily-driver P10 lives outside

It's really a challenge finding spots for all of my tools/parts, plus everything for maintaining a yard. It's a good thing we have a small shed, but I'm actually considering building a much larger shed for all garden/yard stuff, and the other car.

I got my friends 3-car garage for doing all the car related work... and storing the tools !

I assist him with all his car performance upgrades as kind of a payment.

I have a nice size 2 car garage that I can work on the car with the door closed. It's big enough to do a motor swap and have the door closed also. I helped a friend put springs on his STi yesterday when it was raining hard, and we only had to move the car forward a little to raise the rear off the ground. I wish it was a little deeper, but there is enough room with the cars to have about 4 ft between them and my work bench.

I have a "shop"

3 car garage with a double garage door, fully heated, get it up to 20 degrees C when its -20 degrees C outside

the "left" side you can only slide 1 car in. The "right" side you can park the cars one in front of the other thus 3 car

when i am working on my cars i take up the Left and Right front spots, the right back spot is where my sand blaster, air compressor, grinder, tool bench, tool box, and welder goes...

Engine assembly room is in the basement, clean room

I got a hydraulic elevator that links between the basement and the shop. Past owner was handi-cap...

KICKS BUTT...

My house has a garage, but my dad uses it. so work is limited to the driveway during the months that aren't ice cold. adds to the experience when you have to lay down in the ice to fix something.
