Just curious who is forced to work on their car in an apartment complex parking lot and who has single or multi-car garages for their money pits.

i do my sh*t on my front driveway...its ok most of the time...depending on what im doing. if i need to do something that requires a lot of work/tools, it sucks *** i have to take all the tools outside and do all the work, then when im done, i have to pick everything back up and take it back inside and whatnot...pretty gay. oh and greg, thats my 7up on the trunk of your car

Gino, you tried to be the king but the ace is back
It all depends, i have several cars in storage the garage at my mom's house, but that's 3 hours away, so I'm stuck garageless in an apt. it really sucks, since I live on the 8th floor, and I don't wanna store all my tools in my car.
I have a two-car garage, but since I'm a nice guy my wife gets half of it, my S13 the other half, and my daily-driver P10 lives outside
It's really a challenge finding spots for all of my tools/parts, plus everything for maintaining a yard. It's a good thing we have a small shed, but I'm actually considering building a much larger shed for all garden/yard stuff, and the other car.

i use the drive way. if i have something to do ill move my oldsmobile to the side of the house, pull the nx up to the garage but not in it. the garage keeps my dads zrx1200 warm .
Does this answer your question?
I will post pics of my tools and routine.
I work in the lot. I have two spaces. Have Shopping cart will travel.
wheres the damn snow angels!

I have a nice size 2 car garage that I can work on the car with the door closed. It's big enough to do a motor swap and have the door closed also. I helped a friend put springs on his STi yesterday when it was raining hard, and we only had to move the car forward a little to raise the rear off the ground. I wish it was a little deeper, but there is enough room with the cars to have about 4 ft between them and my work bench.

3 car garage with a double garage door, fully heated, get it up to 20 degrees C when its -20 degrees C outside
the "left" side you can only slide 1 car in. The "right" side you can park the cars one in front of the other thus 3 car
when i am working on my cars i take up the Left and Right front spots, the right back spot is where my sand blaster, air compressor, grinder, tool bench, tool box, and welder goes...
Engine assembly room is in the basement, clean room
I got a hydraulic elevator that links between the basement and the shop. Past owner was handi-cap...
carport, covers my 510, and 1/2 of the VW and the majority of the roommates s13, I have more than enough room to mess with stuff, and have tons of tools and space to work.
My house has a garage, but my dad uses it. so work is limited to the driveway during the months that aren't ice cold. adds to the experience when you have to lay down in the ice to fix something.
I got a 1 car heated garage. no one is allowed to store or use the garage except me. the owner has a bunch of his stuff in there still, but im about to ask him to get it out.
my uncle's driveway.. cant fit anything in his garage... too much of it is taken up by tools haha... but i live in south FL so the harshest winter is like 35*F lol
one car garage with 4' of space on the driver's side only if I park 4" away from the wall. Aside from that, I gotta mooch garage time from friends and family
