Stones and Bras

Arguing with my father over car bras. If they are worth using. On the one hand they stop those pesky flying highway stones from totally messing up your nice paint job, while on the other loose dirt and debris stuck inbetween it and your car scratches the paint.

IMO it looks totally gay on B14's... But he might get it for his new Maxima.

Dont use them, they mess up the paint on the hood... A friend of mine put a bra on his b12 after the custom paintjob he had done for the car. About a few weeks later, he removed the bra, & it left a line across the hood. You might be intrested in Star Shield Armor for your car.

The dealer has a clear cover they use, very hard to tell its even there. Although it can be expensive.

Sorry about the huge pics....A shot of my 93 with bra,
and a shot of my 94's hood that never had a bra on ever.
A bra will mess up the paint if you drive in the rain or any
moisture under it. It will cook the water and f the paint up.

I just picked one up for my 93NX. After I get the front end painted I'm gonna use it on long distance trips only. I travel all over N.C. and S.C. about 5 days a month so I'll put it on until my trip is completed. When I get back home, I'll pull it off before I wash the car. Should work out pretty well doing it this way.

Bras work well, you just need to remove it and clean/wax underneath it regularly.
