Rolling tool chests - which one to buy?

Ok guys, I'm thinking of finally getting one of those rolling tool chests to put all of my tools in. I've narrowed it down to the following:

1. 18 drawer roller cabinet from Sears - http://www6.sears.ca/webapp/wcs/stor...ctId=158484773

2. 13 drawer roller cabinet from Home Depot - http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/s...dkey=mo stpop

Which one do you guys think is better? I'm leaning towards the Sears one b/c it's cheaper and has more drawers. But the one from Home Depot has ball bearing drawer sliders which makes opening and closing the drawers buttery smooth.
Thanks.

Wellll, seeing it's you, Jason, it all depends on whose garage you're going to be putting it in. How much room do they have?

The one at Costco is decent or at least it used to be. I notice they changed the company they are carrying over the last few months. The new one they have sucks compared to the old one they used to carry. You'll still get much more box for your money but its not as good as the old one they used to have.

You may want to check out Lowes if you have one as well. They carry a line called Kobalt that are fairly decent.

Ya. There's a Costco nearby and I do remember seeing those steel chests. Thanks. I'll check them out tomorrow.

LOL!!! I've got lots of garage space now!! If you had asked me that a couple of weeks ago, I'd have said Dave's place or Alex's place.

I actually saw a halfway decent box at big-lots the other day, I didn't look at the big box, but the top box had ball-bearing drawers.

Worth a shot at least.

I want Alex's garage and his Miata. How much space do you have? It's hard to tell from the pics you sent. Single or double?

It's a really huge single car garage - 25' by 18ft'. I want to enclose the car port so we'll have a 25' by 25' double car garage. Then I have to sneak a proper automotive lift in there somehow!!

The last time I saw Alex, he was extolling the vitues of the Miata. He's quite amazed at how a stock Miata can handle better than his 200. I think he wants a Miata.

Awesome. That's a lot of space. Saaaaay, I have a whole bunch of engine parts left over from my DET swap. Can I store them in your garage?

I love Miatas. I don't blame him. They're just so well balanced, right out of the box. Shifter's great. Brakes suck though. We have it all over them in brakes.

I wish they were a little bigger though - remember Ken saying that I looked like I was wearing an inflatable pool toy around my middle when he was driving behind me in a Miata and I stretched out my arms...,

Much agreed here. I have a big Snap On at work, but for home I would pick up something like the craftsman with more storage than the husky.

I'd get one with roller bearing as it'll last longer and be easier to open drawers when loaded down with tools.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. However, I've made my decision and I'm going to buy the Husky from Home Depot. This week's flyer says that the tool cabinet I want is $300 off!!! So, that's enough incentive for more.

I'm lucky that I waited b/c I was going to get the stainless steel cabinet at Costco!!!
