Epoxyed my Garage floor.

I thought it was time for me to paint my floor. I got tired of the oil stains and the hard clean up.
Well here goes the prep the painting and the Finish product.
Let me know what you guys think

Looks nice! Did the kit include all the clean & prep chemicals? What brand, and price?

I've been wanting to do this to my garage for a few years. My neighbor is going to let me store my work bench and tools in his garage, so I need to get off my lazy butt and do it. Did you use just 1 kit, or 2 kits?

Chris and Eric,

The kit does come with a cleaner. Its a two part mix that includes the paint and the epoxy. Then you can add the flakes if you choose so. It gives the floor a rubber feel to it. We recently had the floor done here at work with the same stuff. Came out real nice. I also need to stop being lazy and do my garage floor. I will get you guys the name of the product when I get home tonight.

IIRC I paid like $80 for my kit.

I've seen the stuff at Home Depot and Lowes. Rustolium (sp?) makes it. I have a wide 2 car garage. I want a nice, thick coat that won't suffer from hot tire pickup, or anything dropped on it.

Hey there guys.. Well, It's Rust-Olum or soemthing like that. the kit was $96 and it's was good for 350-400sq Make sure if you have a two car garage that is the one you get.

And the kit I got didn't come with any kind've cleaner I had to get my own.
You really don't need to lay it on stupid thick being that it was like rolling peanut butter on the floor.
My wife LOVE how it looks. I wanted to install my new lighting but she won't allow me to go in the garage until tomorrow Funny that she is more protective about the finish then I'am. you can walk on the floor after 24hrs and you can drive your car in there in 7days.

Just get the Kit.. Scrub the floor with Acid like I did sqeegie out the water as you see that I was doing. Let that dry for 24hrs and then paint.

Was it a two part, epoxy based coating?

Let us know how it holds up meng!
