Be a man, loosen the strut bolts by hand. I've never had to use impact on a B13 when changing suspension. One would think all those late nights, spent at home, would help you develop arm muscles.

A hunnert pounds???? Isn't that a mite snug over the 72 in the fsm (b13)?

Brian, understand for track. Maybe wanna try ebay for snapon or matco or one of the other big tool guys? Certainly would keep a spare battery in the kit.

That is all my forearm is calibraited to

But yeah I need to get in the habbit of using the torque wrench more often. I always thought it was like ~87 ft/lbs as was the Z32 torque spec.

May be different for the later cars, but for a 91-94 B13 it's 72 lbs. Yup, just checked, in case I was delusional :-)
