It's not CNC

Would like to set a Group Buy but I live in Mexico

Now I'm planning to machine one and powder coated in flat black.

I have the "Nismo" eBay short shifter, I need to raise the boot, had no time yesterday, the nylon threaded insert worked great

Looks great! How does it feel? How will you go about raising the shift boot?

to raise the shift boot just unhook the boot base and raise it over the still installed knob. wrap some tape around the base were you want to boot to be and it will stay there.

looks great, only thing i don't like about solid metal knobs is the extreme heat and cold.

That's true. It seems like that would get hot as hell in the summer.

Same here, if it could be powder coated also, I'd be all over it even SOONER.

Yea I think I can find someone to do it. I was toying around with the idea of buying a square foot of black leather and getting it wrapped also.... lots of fabric glue & a TIGHT fit should keep it snug on their nicely I think. I'd be able to skip the powdercoating all together as well as eliminiate the cold/hot feeling on certain days.
