quick koni bumpstop ?

So I met some guy that gets a great deal on parts through a shop... koni bumptops for 10 bucks each,shipping only 1 or 2 days.... He claimed that the koni bumpstops are universal... are they, or does koni make different sizes/types?

I hope I got the right ones

There are tons of different sizes and shapes. I visited the Koni warehouse and there were tons of them! See the pic in the suspension guide ( tech library) for a pic of the right ones for spec-v koni yellows, if that's what you have. That is a good price if you got the right ones.

So I just called koni, and they said for a 98 sentra using koni yellows, there are two choices...

40mm= part # 7034540000

55mm= part # 7034530000

From http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/...ber04/b14susp/ I see that the same sizes are also used for the b14 agx rear

I see it is reccommended to order new dustboots also... I read the rear's have an unnatachable bumpstop to them.. So do I order 2 front pairs to get around this, so I would be able to use koni bumpstops all around?

40mm= part # 7034540000 ... I know I need these for the front... Do the agx use the same? I guess it depends on the size of the ummm ..strut...strut shaft would it be?

It would probably be both shaft circumference and how far the shaft can go into the strut before it does things you don't like (length of the bumpstop).
With regards to the dustboots, just get 4 of the fronts and remove the bumpstop from them (this worked for the b13 dustboots, I have no experience with any others). Word of warning. The spec-v yellows I use have a shaft circumference that is quite a bit bigger than the hole in the dustboot for the B13. I might have been able to drill out the hole, but I said screw it. The dustboot for the B13 worked great on the koni reds for the B13.

Yes on the dust boots/Koni bumps. You have it correct. It's in the Suspension thread.

I bought my Koni bumps from Motivational. According to the article, Motivational only carries the 55mm bump stop. Mine look exactly like the picture (before getting cut in two).

The 55mm works with AGX's for sure. That is also what is pictured in the Suspension Thread, being held by Isfahan. LOL.

BTW this thread just got linked and referenced. Under "Bumpstops." Duh.

Thanks for clarifying gentlemen!
