Does anyone have the details to do this swap. It doesnt seem to hard but i know there will be some things that wont just fall into place. Mabye a link with how to or something. Thanks.. I was told you couldnt make a GA16 fast 10 years ago and i should have bought the SE-R. 12.43@109mph in a GA B13, if they could only see me now and try to tell me that.
Sorry to bring back old threads but I'm in the middle of this swap. And what a pain...
The transmission has to come from a 2000-20001 sentra 2.0 the same b15 we all crave. The mount is the same and its hydraulic so you dont have to convert the altima. Then axles from the same car along with I think hubs from a maxima...Still trouble shooting the hub thing.
But all in all the swap will be worth it. I know I've never seen it in super street so maybe a 1 page story? We hope *crosses fingers* I'll be starting a thread on this soon. I just hope we dont get flammed for it going into a altima. But hey at least its a nissan. Unlike the vw project thats on hold while I'm in school.
We've been documenting it from day one.
