S132nr - I still have a slight tick on this header under full load, I noticed it since I was out of the car. Wierd because I don't have any leaks... meh.
Yeah yeah yeah... Dyno Sheets and Vids... Sorry they are so crappy and have all the nonsense, I got to antsy to scan them... I think that I hit my governer
you know you love that chit They were beatin on my baby... I think the 1/4 mile vid is so cool
And its good to see that those motor mounts are doing their job... the motor hardly budged...
I am wondering how big of a difference your car feels with the added power from all the mods you have done compared to when the car was bone stock?

Gosh, I have no clue... I honestly don't have that many engine mods really... short intake, header, exhaust, thermoblocks, nice wires, and thats mainly it. I don't think the pop charger really did anything.... I have no clue
Man, I just wish I could put an intake cam in like on your lowport... I remember the day when I installed one of those on my old more... man did it feel good up high.

Well, making 153hp at the wheels w/15% drivetrain loss is about 177hp at the crank which is close to 40 more hp from stock...so there's gotta be a difference in the way the car feels. And 40hp at the crank from stock with the mods you have(which you describe as "not that many") is pretty impressive.
I think I'm going to buy some SSAC headers here pretty soon.
This is a good example of a noobie who got rod-knock, swapped a motor, got it running right, and made good numbers. Alot of you newbs need to read threads like this. I can remember I would PM tokes and ask him how his swap was going he would get irritated and I would tell him to stay with it.
I give you props XXtokesXX you done nice work, researching, and laid down cammed SR20 power numbers... Have a beer for me..

I don't see a reason to do a 1/4 mile or 0 - 60 run on a dyno. Neither are a true test for what the car will do on the street.
i agree and disagree. the test on the dyno are suppostto be pretty accurate, they take into account tire spin, etc...and like meen said, it was a freebie
To me, runs like that are harder on the car, than a simple pull and running it on the street. The dyno passes don't take into account wind resistance and car weight. If it was free and your car, cool, but I'm not doing that with mine.

they do account for weight, and for wind, i dont know. i have seen a car run an 11.0 on the dyno then go to the track the same night and run an 11.0
