How long you goin to wait before you do that... If I see spring hit and you haven't sold it, and that t28 isn't on your ride I'm going to hunt you down and install it for you. What are you waiting for? Boost it!

the day i get my taxreturn (usually early feb) i'm sending out my harness parts and the ecu

then all i need is the injectors, and while i'm waiting for that stuff to come back, i will start working on it, drilling and tapping and such

Thanks mang...

That really means a lot to me I think the last mod to the daily will be the VE flywheel I recently purchased. I think its time to retire her and just drive her from now on.

I am going to say 163-165whp?? The cams should work real nice with the 2.5inch exhaust all the way back. What size piping are you using for your cai? I recommend 3inch if you can. I made my maxima cai fit, which is 3inch piping, and it made a big difference over a wai attached to the maf.

Good luck!

Man, I hope so...

Even though its only peak power, I'm going to try and keep my expectations low . It's hella humid at 6pm... It's supposed to be 87 degrees at 6pm tomorrow

I'm using whatever the injen intake comes with ... I think it's 2.5" but I'm not sure?

im thinking you should be around 164-166 whp since you last dynoed at 154, the s3r cams should be good for at least 10 more hp, i heard the sound clip and they sound sick almost sound like my s4's , i want to see what youll gain by switching to a 3inch cai too

I'm at the shop now I'm all excited and nervous like the feeling right before your about to go to track for the first time...

The car is cooling from the drive and it'll be on the dyno at 6... I hope it does well.

I will do two 4th gear pulls and one 3rd gear pull because my car hits the speed governor in 4th up top.

Ill post the cliff notes bad or good

Unfortunately the news is sucking.... found out its 95 degrees inside the shop area as opposed to the 47 degrees it was last time I was here.... its humid as all get out... I just pulled my first run and got the same got damn numbers..... I got with stock cams..... I got two more pulls to go.... sigh.

The settings were the same as last time... Mustang Dynometer Mode. I'm going to ask if he put in the same loading weight tomorrow.

Well, I just got back.. and I yielded a best of 156.xxWHP, thats right ladies and gentlemen a whopping 2+ whp better than w/ stock cams A crazy 1whp per cam, 0.25whp per cam lobe, 0.125whp per fu*king valve

The only thing we could think of is the 50 degree weather difference and the humidity. The last time I dynoed it was 47 degrees w/ minimal humidity... and my worst nightmare (weather) came and bit me in the ass today. ...

In other words today it was 95 FREEKING degrees w/ the back door open, 93 degrees on the floor, and there was crazy humidity - as in it felt like I was harboring in a fat man's armpit for an hour.

The operator gave me a discount and I think it was because I was so bummed the hell out... considering I paid crazy dough for 2whp... I didn't even take the printout... but we agknowledged the weather change and came to the conclusion that I need to go back again when an egg can't cook on the pavement to get comparable numbers, as there was no correction for temperature or pressure changes.

So in conclusion... I'm going back in the fall, or sometime in the morning when its under 70 fu*king degrees.... or about the same temperature as my last dyno.

I'm so mad at myself... I could have bought some go fast parts for the turbo car - but instead I'm still fooling with this n/a DE game, dumping money in a daily when I should just be driving it. Give me a few days to chill out about this. Sorry for building this whole ordeal up...

I'll drop in in a few months with the new numbers...

Dude chill out. Its not that bad. Those are pretty good #'s for a dyno rip in a fat man's armpit.

Yeah man don't be upset. Like we talked about in the other thread, these aren't really "big power" cams. You got some gains, I'm certain. They just didn't show because of the conditions.

Yeah, thanks for the words... I guess it was just a little disheartening to me. Considering the circumstances I guess I shouldn't bitch. I still need to look at the area under the curve.

How does the car feel on the butt dyno? Does it pull noticeably harder or what?
