The car feels wonderful... i mean it always has, but now it just pulls harder above 4k... especially when its cooler outside. It is very torquey throughout the band but there was a significant difference all the way to redline.

If you live around the area I'd let you drive her down the block.

Give me a couple months and I'll go back to re-dyno when its a little more suitable to run and put down the numbers that this car rightfully does.

Same Mustang Dynometer

This was with stock cams when it was about 47 degrees outside, 60 or so in shop - 154whp/136ft-lb's

This was After the S3R's when it was 87 outside, 95 on the shop wall, 93 on the floor and muggy. 156.XXwhp/135ft-lb's

Disregarding the weather differences... :::sigh:::

It looks like the area under the curves were increased only a little bit, maybe a little more broad rather than peaky like before... sh*t, who am I kidding, it looks exactly the same lol... but it's hard to compare considering the temperature difference, and the scale differences. I apologize for not posting both graphs on the same sheet, but Raceline lost the data from before due to a comp crash. Even though the last graph from yesterday is noisy... its a little interesting in the differences yielded.

I am very excited to go back when the weather gets a little cooler to get a better graph...

Have a gander at them and please comment... I'd like to know what everyone else thinks...

I'll get another graph up here when I find a day where its under 70 degrees to get a better comparison... it will be spiratic; I'll be watching the weather channel like a hawk

^ put in s4's there a much better cam then the s3.

tokes had to put in s3r's because he has a rr motor that will only accept the s3r cams and not the s4 cam.

meens dyno when its cooler man, no reason u wont hit your goal, as we all know heat is a power KILLER !!!

stratton.

Thanks man... you guys are def making me feel a little better about my numbers. I knew it was stupid to dyno yesterday but you know how you get that feeling when your there? I swear, its like addicting... You know I'm coming back strong... that's a promise

160+whp/145ft-lb daily or bust!!! I'll leave the big power for the grey car

He he... time to dyno again, sneaky sneaky... its supposed to be a little cooler outside today... hopefully I can break my stock cam power, if not I'll wait til november in this bitch!

Results... same nonsense... wtf is my 10whp from my cams!!!

I'm done with n/a mods... One more dyno in late fall - and no more modding for this car. I'll probably start to sell some stuff.

Tokes, sorry I didn't chime in sooner on this;

When you tested in the higher temp day, when it was muggy, you were actually fighting a battle on two fronts. Not only was the air density significantly lower because of the higher ambient air temperature, but the high relative humidity was also lowering the available air density. Kind of a double whammy there.

Optimal conditions are going to be cool, dry air for the best readings. To compare equally, though, you need to have as close to identical atmospheric conditions as possible.

Hope your next run has numbers that make you smile!

Darrin
