Confusing...I think the 1.5 inch drop is like the average drop for most vehicles...I was scrolling through the list and most of the drops ranged from 1.1-1.9 or so. Should say on there somehwhere "actual ride height may vary" or something.

Yeah....but 2.4 inches??? Geezus, that is a lot different than 1.5.

Six tenths of an inch of suspension travel? .......

Hopefully we'll have word from Tein later today or tomorrow. I'll check my Email tonight after work (uh....4 am).

It does say "approximately 1.5 inch" drop.

Thanks for being so sharp on that. I want accurate information.

Because of this thread, I went and updated the Suspension Thread to include the information on the S and H-Tech springs. So thanks for bringing this to my attention Sentrixx.

i never measured my ride height with these, but they are listed as 2.4 in the front. the front is very close to that of a drop, there is not much suspension travel left when you use these springs. blew out the gr-2's i installed w/ the springs in like 3 months, it does say on the box not intended for road use though, which is why i sold them and would never use those springs again. they do make the car sit nice, but way too bouncy.

After rereading that site again, it would appear that you guys are correct.

If so, that makes them the worst springs on the market for your B14.

Not a single suprise here, makes total sense.

I'll report when (if) I get an answer from Tein.

I have s-tech on my 240, and the front can get bouncy. I can feel the front bottom out on bumps all the time. The rear is much better because of the multi link setup, but the front with it's McPherson strut has the same issues as the b chassis.

But they are MUCH better then the ghetto rigged ebay coilover sleeves on stock struts that came with the car

Depends on what you want to spend.

I personally have riding in cars with these setups and my <personal opinion>

AGX/Prokits

AGX/GC

AGX/H&R

n1smojunkie, you win the prize. You are 100% correct.

I read those numbers, and figured it must be a mistake. No mistake about it.

Thanks for the sharp eyes.

The S.Techs will suck ass on a B14. If you were to purchase these, you would have a tiny bit over a half inch of suspension travel in the front of the vehicle. Six tenths of an inch.

I'll go update the suspension thread.

At least we got accurate information.

Unbelievable.

Haha I just wanted to make sure that people were getting the right info on these springs. The site is kind of misleading. Glad you emailed and clarified it though...well now we know.
