~~~~Need help with deciding on new rims~~~~
ok im bout to get some new wheels, either these sportmax 501 in a 15x7 or a 15x8....Now i know the 15x7 will fit *** the offet is 38mm which is fine but they only have a 1 1/2 lip. I would like to run the 15x8 but has a 15mm offset and has a massive 3in lip. Right now i have my current wheel with a 40mm offsett and i have about another 2 inches before the tire line up with the top of the fender well. I would like to know if id have clearence issues with my suspenion(b14 ksports) or rubbbing of anysort. Ive did some searching on here but havent quite got the answer im looking for.... thanks for any usefull advice
Why not go bigger?
I feel that 15's are too small unless you have a track only car! 17's would look great....but I personally have only owned 18's on my rides.
I think you will love a 16" rim w/ a 45 series tire... you should look into it.
I like your old wheels... I think color matched rims will be too much, but this is your car mang!
Those are some cool rims but, how well do they match the red paint on your car? I think the black rims you are rocking now look hot.
have you jacked up the front of the car and turned the wheel all the way to the left, measure the clearance, turn wheel all the way to right, measure the clearance..... and you can do the math from there. i dont have a b14 , and knowing the current offset on your current rims would help to.
