Clutch Options for Turbo Car

I am currently running an ACT heavy duty pp and street clutch. The setup has been on the car for ~27k miles, and now it is slipping badly. It started to slip about a month ago, and under 7 psi it will slip about 50% of the time. My car puts down ~255 hp. I know puck clutches are harsh engagement and harsh on the drive line; all us turbo guys know the problems with 3rd gear. Thus, minimizing drive line shock is a must. I have heard the Xtreme ACT pp has problems with engagement. ACT rates the street disc and Xtreme pp at 308 lb/lbs of clamping. My current setup is rated at ~230 ft/lbs. Does anyone know of other reliable options or have feedback to share?

I browsed their site. They seem like they have some good stuff, but I have never heard of anyone praising them. I would like to avoid a puck clutch; this car is my daily driver.

my car has a CC clutch I'm not sure what one it is, but it is a 6 puck so its either an ironman or a stage 4. its HORRIBLE!!! the pedal engagement is like a light switch the pedal is extremely stiff, and worst of all its broken third twice. needless to say I'm switching to a exedy stage 1 it may end up slipping, but I would rather that than losing third again

I'd say swap your street disc out for ACT's sprung hub 6 puck. I ran that in my SE-R when it was turbo with the heavy duty pressure plate. The engagement was actually smooth in comparison to the Clutchnet that I had previously.

I had the same setup as you (ACT HD PP + street disc) but it started slipping @ 13psi on my T25 with the S4 cams. The puck held beautifully. YMMV.
