ok before i go on i will say that my water pump is GOOD and the thermostat is GOOD. (tested in a pan of hot water with a thermometer and opened at 170*). now, when the car is running and is at temperature, it will cause the radiator hoses to expand and when the car is driving or stopped and is given gas, the temperature gauge will fall to below normal temp and when driving it will drop to C. can someone help me with this? there is no air in the system. has been redone several times....
I had that issue too. I was actually noticing the temp sensor DROPPING to C while I was driving and never go passed the middle of the gauge. Check your coolant.

It might just be the sensor for the gauge, the one on the right which is the single wire. Mine is loose and my guage is off because of it, sometimes the gauge will jump around also. Go check that plug to see if it is loosely connected to the metal prong/tab.

i disconnected and re connected the plug and it is running fine now. and i dont know if my hoses should have as much pressure on them as they do i cant really explain. i mean, they don't look like they will explode or anything. and my water pump and thermostat are both good. i guess if it blows it blows and i'll go from there. thanks for the input...
