Good morning... I'm an italian boy from Rome.
Excuse me if I don't speak/write well the english language.
I have an s13 with sr20det engine (

construction... some photos is not inserted)... in Italy the car usually have the CA18DET engine... but I changed it with an black SR20DET engine.
Now, I have gravous problems of health (I don't know if I can enjoy of my car when it will be concluded... but I want prepare it also to think to some thing of beautiful... I'll do personally only the body modifications.. in vtr... with increase length and width... width will be 194 cm-76.4 inch... all possible components will be in vtr..), but I have now an only desire: I want to prepare my car to have about 900hp, but I know that with a so high power, choises must be done with a lot of attention (otherwise, I'll be to change a lot of pieces every some days... I prefear directly buy exactly components).
So, I want to prepare well my s13 '93 year.
My purpose will be to have a car to run on track (so, it's important succeed to obtain the best lap time) but also for drag race (1/4 mile best time... I hope about 9 sec on 1/4 mile...!!!)... I imagine that to have a perfect car to track and drag is perhaps not easy... but I must try to have both purposes.
My preparer will be ramaracing (site
www.ramaracing.it)... It is a good preparer (It ever win the italian drag race championship and also second and ever good positions on european drag championship)... but, before to do to prepare my car from them... I want ask on internet to some people very competent if my configuration (my choices... ramaracing still don't know all particulars) is good or it can be better.
I tell You the configuration I'm thinking for my S13 (if You read some component that You think or You know not good for my configuration or for my car or if You know better components or You can tell me the name and the model of a component I don't write the name... please, tell me):
1) prepared SR20DET => wiseco or cp pistons, hks cams (° => ???), titanium valves (model???), kit accesories valves (all about valves...model???), good headgasket (model???);
2) garrett gt4202r BB 1,15 a/r, blow off (model???) and wastegate(model???);
3) gearbox... ???? (z32 ???... m3 ?????... nismo 6 speed ????.. nismo is
with good gears... long first gear, other gear near... but I think that it isn't not good for 900 hp.. so, for now, only solution is the z32 gearbox);
4) nismo lsd (is good?... model???);
5) clutch kit (model???);
6) bosch or mectronik or efi programmable ecu (which?);
7) better fuel pump (walbro???) and fuel regulator pressure (model???), 1000 injectors (model???);
8) suspensions kit "D2" (I have seen it on a lot of s14 for drift... and I know that these suspensions are perfect... but I don't know if they are perfect only for drift or also for other configurations... in my case for drag and track... but for drift I have seen them and I can tell that these suspensions are perfect... in a s14... Is it the same on s13?);
9) weight reduction (to about 2200/2300 lbs by also vtr body
modifications... I'll remove all in the car) and better balance of weights;
10) tyres: 255/35/18 to front (195/60/15 for drag race) and 295/30/18 to
rear (also up to 335/30/18... on wheels Work VS XX 18" 10x18 to front and 13x18 to rear) I will do also to accredit my modifications by German offices and I will can use my car also on street... to go to the supermarket (!!!)
11) other accesories: big intercooler, oil pan, complete exhaust and other
secondary things.
I repeat, if You have read some thing not good or You know name of
components to tell me, please, tell me.
Please, If You have some other good council for me (also for attentions on
preparation)... please, tell me...
Please... Tell me councils or name of components only if You are sure that they are good/better... for experience or for really acquaintance of SR20DET and/or components to advise or also if You have read on internet that a lot of people with sr20det use a particular component because it's good for s13 in general.
