which mark is tdc?

ive searched under tdc, top dead center, top+dead+center, and top*dead*center and i cant find anything on how to find out which mark is top dead center?
the car is at stock timing and im about to put in a highport cam so i just want to find out which of the marks on the pulley means cylinder 1 is at tdc

the big white mark, should mean timing is at 0 too.

Don't tell me that you searched under all of those choices and didn't find your answer, cause that's bullsh*t. There are a ton of threads that explain.

Either way, I'll do it for you. If you are looking at the pulley from the passenger side, the second mark from the left is TDC, it is the white mark. The marks are -5, 0, 5, 10, 15 20

i usually double check that the mark is true tdc with a long extension through the spark plug hole to make sure that it is true tdc, when the extension stops moving up and goes down, back off a bit until you reach tdc.
