Piston gap?!

whatsup guys, dont have much time to explain everything *** both my cars are down right now.

car is a '95 200sx SE-R with a recently swapped sr, car blew a headgasket not too long ago, i took the head off to change the hg and i think i may have a problem with my pistons but not sure, there is a gap big enough to fit my fingernail in, in between the piston and the cylinder walls, only on cylinder 1 and 4 but there is no scoring on the walls whatsoever, never seen this before dont think its normal.

Pics:

can anyone chime in and tell me if this is normal? im just about positive its not ive never seen a gap like that i thought its supposed to be sealed

Maybe you can get the spec for piston-to-bore clearance and use a feeler gauge? Max clearance is .0012 per FSM. your finger nail is probably about .012 or more.
