So I got pulled over :(

So I got pulled over for having tinted windows(came like that)

and I didnt have the VIN on the dash(swithced dash from last owner) and no VIN on the door...

He checked my fireway and all matched but he is sending me to get a VIN Inspection... I HAVE A S13 SR20DE!

does the vin inspector check the engine? or do they just check the firewall and then give me a vin sticker for the door.

This is in california..

And if they DO check the engine.. my only option would be to swap in a ka24de?

your pretty much boned cali is the worst with modded cars they will rape u hard for anything not stock on the car down to the ride hight good luck man your going to need it

ok well I guess my only option is to get a ka into this 240....

I know early atleast.. I have a month or two to get this swap done

Well u don't have to go as far as to as swapping in an different motor u just have to provide the paperwork for the motor in the car if u have it that is lol but seriously man good luck i really hope it works out for u

cali is not as bad as it used to be. Budget has been tough last few years.

I would nut up and play dumb if the inspector asks questions. See what happens.

yea Ill update after I get it all figured out.

Looking for a KA to swap into it but having no luck in finding one..
posted in craigslist(sac) and here but nothing yet

I wont go there with my sr20 lol
If I get this on my record they will be poping my hood everytime they see me.

Im about to go pull an engine from pick-n-pull.... its my only option at the moment
