I could really use the help of you experts out there. As a quick synopsis, I performed an Avenir swap into my 96 200sx se-r. I had my ecu reprogrammed by jwt to handle a 300zx maf and stock avenir injectors (i believe 370cc).
The swap went successfully. Car starts up like a champ. It revs up and sounds overall healthy.
The only problem I have right now is related to the idle. My car idles very high. It surges between 3,000 and 4,000 rpm and almost seems like it is confused (trying to find the sweet spot).
My vacuum lines are connected in accordance to a number of threads I've found here. I'm running the stock avenir bov (with stock tube and flange). I've recirculated bov to intake.
I've tried everything. I've reconfigured my vac lines in every which way and I can't get the idle to stay steady. I've also tried unplugging tps, replying tps, etc. No go. I'm using the avenir tps. My usdm tps makes no difference.
So. I'm reaching out now for help. I really want to get this thing running stable and I'm about done pulling my hair out.
I'm even ready to pay someone to help me out (if you want to make some money and are in the Chicagoland area)
Any advice you can give would be great. Thanks.
