I have done like 10 other weight reduction things but my PC is broken so I cant show any pics yet.
Im aiming for a 1850lb daily driver.

way to go fig!im getting there,u guys try drilling some holes in some stuff that isent gonna leak.if u have stock battery box drill that thing out it dont take much to hold the battery up.
got a question for u fig i have took the following off tow hooks,exhaust shields,metal brace in the trunk that supports the muffler hanger,jack holder,all carprt in the back,drilled holes in stuff in the back such as hinges and bracing,ac condensor and compressor,radiator over flow,washer fluid holder and lines,all sound deadner and firewall blanket,brace under steering wheel,all the emissions crap,and a few other brackets and bolts,how much do u think i have shaved off? just ballpark would be nice.is there any other big stuff i cant remove, back seat as i have a son and i want to keep and the interior for now.do u think this is enough to show up at the track.thanks to all that have posted on this thred i have really used it

I removed the battery tray completely. There's a pic here.
Every SE-R varies in weight so its really hard to say how much your car would weigh.
You can always take off your trunk and hood supports.
Your trunk hinges would go as well.
Lose BOTH your hood and trunk LATCHES.
Use aluminum hood pins on the hood.
Use ZIP TIES whenever possible.
Cut off the lower part of your dash.
Cut off the lower part of you door panels.

But thats so not true.

The dremel will let you cut in tight small places. And its by far more accurate then a SAWZALL. PLUS, the SAWZALL blade cant go where a little cutting can.
