I shortened my side-exhaust with no resonators ( can you hear me now? )
and I shortened the rear frame ( YIKES!! ) ( track car only status right there )
I also trimmed some useless stuff under the carriage.

You could remove the rear brake components if it's allowed in the racing regulations. (If I'm not mistaken, isn't 90% of the braking done in the front?) I would only do this to a drag car. Removing the rear calipers, brackets, lines, sensors (abs), e-brake cables, and rotors might save 20lbs+.
Upgrading the front brakes to a fastbrakes setup may be an extra option to remove more weight. If fastbrakes is not an option, try crossdrilled rotors. Removing the front and rear sway bars may help with another 20lbs. Could try a modified crossmember with a single tubular aluminum bar (either solid or very thick gauged aluminum). Aftermarket aluminum radiaters could reduce the weight and improve the cooling. Also, reducing the size of the radiator and changing the cooling fluid mix can help. How much does Redline water wetter weigh in comparison to antifreeze/coolant vs water?
What type of headlights are ya'll running? Stock? Upgrading to an aftermarket driving light assembly may reduce even more weight. This can be done for the rear lights as well... may look a little different though. Might even try LED lighting items... LED brake lights, LED turn signals, LED sidemarkers, etc.
Anyone think of welded doors with access nets through the windows? This would remove weight from the hinges, brackets, latches, and door mechanisms. Converting to a racing seatbelt harness would remove the heavy factory unit. (Could start with a 4pt instead of a 5pt harness) Removing the factory diaphragm horn and replacing it with an aftermarket horn can cut the weight by half.
Re-wiring the electronics with shortened paths can remove the excess wires. IE: headlights, foglights, turnsignals, sidemarkers, horn, etc. Grounding these electronics to a closer vicinity can cut the length of wires (just ground next to the light..).
Just another idea: replace the heavy factory bolts with lighter & stronger bolts.
Can the pedals be modified with lighter components? The clutch pedal bracket is pretty heavy.
actually, you could get a sparco seat, theyre only 13 lbs.
you could trim the door panels for all of theyre sheetmetal then replace it with sheet aluminum. as long as you leave about a 2" lip all the way around, the door wont be flimsy. the side impact protection is in the bar, not the sheetmetal.

you know you're light enough that you probably won't need power brakes (couple lbs. and cleaner bay). And since it's ~track-only, just dump the exhaust under the car or just behind the front wheel. Maybe look into some frying pan Teflon coating to paint the body to help drop just one more tenth
1824#! That's an inspiration to us all - keep up the good work!

Im not sure if anyone said this already(to lazy to go through all 23 posts!) you could sand all the paint off your car thats at least 10 lbs. If anyone has more money than brains, they could have a whole lotta stuff made from CF or FG, like doors, mirrors, and other body parts.
Probably none. Actually I bet fiberglass fenders would weigh more than the factory metal ones. They're extremely light as it is. I had to replace one of mine.

It sounds like you have the lightest B13 i've ever heard of....so how fast is it now? what is the overall effect of losing the 700 or so pounds?
