Just weighed my car in Battle Mode.
No nothing but whats neccesary for Drag Racing.

I weigh my car when the GAS light comes on. Thats also how I drag race, with the gas light on.

You still have a Gas Light? I would think that would weigh to much!

Question---anyone know on an nx, if the carpet is ALL ONE PIECE? I might take mine out...the floormats would still make it look decent. Also, is there tar mat insulation crap under the FRONT carpet too??
The carpet on the nx is all one piece. I had to cut it off. It still looks good with just the floormats & now the bad news....There is lots of tar under the front seats & the floormats but it's easy to remove on my nx anyways. The nx looks kinda cool without the back seats. You just gave me some ideas man.

I G-Teched my car's 0-60 with full tank and near empty. To my surprise, it's consistently faster with full tank of gas. Maybe there's more pressure in the fuel lines with a full tank.

You should be faster with less gas....less weight.

Ive always wondered about that alot. Ive been meaning to ask about it. You would think more gas more pressure on the lines.
As long as its not a FULL tank. Maybe half. You dont want too much weight. Especially over 100 lbs of extra weight.

I usually fill my tank up 6 gallons each filling. I notice that it is faster after I fill it up then before.

I've done many test and it's consistently .2 to .3 seconds faster in the 0-60 on a full tank. Weird indeed..

no where on island deals dry ice so.....i used the wet stuff ive got most of the tar crap from under the rear seats off and i still have the rear foot wells, under the front seats and the front foot wells to clear. But so farive got 10lbs from just the back seat stuff should get at least 40lbs of this sh*t out. Ive also ditched my rear windsheild wiper for a whopping 3lbs and debadged it 0.25lbs . Hopefully it will all offset the weight of the front mount IC, larger exhaust and the HKS GT3037. So far this is what ive done

No carpet - 7lbs
No rear trim - 15lbs
No rear seats 35lbs
Cobra Suzuka Carbon Kevlar seats - 32lbs
No Engine wiring harness - 5lbs
5Zigen FN01RC wheels - 6lbs a corner = 24lbs
No rear wiper assembly 3lbs
Tar crap removed - ~40lbs

Total of around 161lbs weight loss bringing me to 2523lbs damn GTi-R is so heavy

So you don't REALLY lose a wiring harness. The tec-3 harness(s) is still pretty fat.
