I suggest you stop going to that mechanic. That is all.

Thanks guys for your help.
So trying to gain some knowledge here, from the pic of the first post, I assume fpr is to the right, and left side go towards the engine?

As far as my mechanic, maybe he meant what I gave him(the frp alone) wasn't enough to hook up a fuel gauge. Oh well.

This is a really nice kit. I just installed it on Stratton's car, and mounted it on the firewall, just to the right of the master cylinder.

Stratton was telling me that the line is too short. Did you guys get it all worked out?

PS, did you hook up the light bulb to for extra bonus points?

Yeah, there was no way to install it on the strut tower with the length of line. No light bulb, he didn't want it. You KNOW I would have hooked that biatch up, and even had it dim just like the gauges. The car is back in his hands as of Sunday, he should be able to snap a pic for you.

Hmm..that's weird, I'm running that same 12" line, and mine reached. Unless he's got a shorter fuel line coming off the fuel filter.

I got mine a while ago and mounted it on a bracket off the Stillen Front-strutbar. The fuel-line was too short to reach the corner where Serban has mounted the gauge. Nice kit though and much cleaner than an in-line fuel-gauge. I can recommend it.
