Serban, gimme a hand?

Hey man, I recently bought three gauges:

Oil Pressure
Oil Temp
Water Temp

Luckily for me, when I went to install them, I either couldn't locate the right fittings, or I ordered the wrong fittings.

Could you help me out? I need to know what I need to get, and if you can help me with what I need to order. Here is the thread that I started about my gauges.

Seems that you're trying to run a small ss line off the block, so you can put the sender on the end of it. Is that what I got from the thread?

If so, you'll need:
Autometer 2269 (this is a 1/8" bspt to npt adapter)
XRP 981603 x2 (1/8" npt to -3an fittings, one for each end of the ss line)
SS line (not sure what length you need)
XRP 991001 (screws to one end of the XRP 981603, and the sender for the gauge in the other end)

Does this sound like what you need?

That's exactly what he needs.

may as well get a "t" fitting, too. Run temp and pressure off one line, instead of welding into the pan.

BZZZZZZZZZZZT - in the pan is the best place to monitor oil temp.

Sorry, was off at my first weekend autocross event. (Which by the way was very fun. )

That does sound like what I need! Can you quote me a price? I need to take measurements tomorrow, but for the sake of price estimating let's say 18 inches.

How about water temp? Is there a preferred spot to get the temp from? I have seen T's that go into the radiator hose for the 240 (not sure if it's the same size) and I have heard of T's that go into the coolant line running to the TB.

Oh and, do you have access to a M12x1.5 to 1/8" NPT bushing..? I want to try to use a bushing to fit the temp sender into the oil drain plug.

is it just me or does this go in the wrong direction? I think that goes 1/8 NPT (male) to M12x1.5 (female) instead of M12x1.5 (male) to 1/8 NPT (female). Have you used this part before for the oil pan shiznat?

You're looking at about $36 + shipping with the 18" line.

If the oil drain plug is m12 x 1.5, the 2277 is the one you need. The autometer gauges have a male 1/8" NPT fitting that would screw right into that 2277. here's what it looks like so you have a better idea. I got one in stock. its $10.30, but I need to add it to the website.
