I contacted Tirerack about getting a discount on Kosei K1's, and this is what I was able to work out: 40 K1's, 15x6, in silver (maybe a few in white) for $119 each (normal price is $129). The more tires that go to one location, the cheaper the shipping. Once I have 40 rims worth of interest (probably 10 sets of 4, but not necessarily), I will ask you to send money, and I will place the order. Tirerack will ship directly to your address. A set of 4 sent to my house in Buffalo, New York would cost me approximately $504, shipped. Less if more people in my area are interested, and we get them shipped to the same address. This is a lightweight rim (13.5 lbs) and has an excellent reputation for strength. If you search this forum, you'll find nothing but praise for it. Let me know!
Sounds like a god deal, I paid $129ea for mine. Should see if they can throw in the center caps for free too. They are like $8ea. By the way the wheels are 15x7, not 15x6.
I'm guessing that theseould these be for 4x100mm?
What would the offset be? +38mm?
What else is included in the price?
Lugnuts?
Centering rings?
Valve stems?
Center caps?
Can you find out and get back to us?
For the SE-R, 15x7", 38mm offset. Usually, when you purchase wheels from the TireRack, they will provide you with lugnuts and the proper hub-centric rings, so I don't see why they wouldn't include them in this group buy. Valve stems are definitely included; center caps are normally separate. BTW, here's a shot of the Kosei's mounted on my car.

im sorry i havent replied in so long - it looks like they lowered their price again to $109. I havent called to see if they can do better then that, but even if they can, I found a set of K1's locally for cheap, so I won't be participating in this group buy anyway. If you think its still worth it, I can call the guy I was talking to, and see if he can do better.
they are 89 each... before any markup.. here im soposto add 10% but i dunno how shipping would work with this...ill leave it up to flippyboy to figure out.
who do I call to get in on this? I live in Pittsburgh so I would bet shipping would be even cheaper to me. And what is the price anyway? Zip you said 89 + a few bucks or so
wacked2882... if u want a set, sense your local... i can order a set and u can pick up if u wanted to come across state... my brother is out to pitt ever few weeks, ill ask him and see when hes going again... i cant place the order through my acct there untill i get the money up front for them. figure 400bucks for the set plus paypal fees unless u write a check or money order..
