B13 Coilover Group Buy

This Group Buy is for Progress B13 coilovers part number # 75.1509. By now every one has had a chance to do there research on the system, so everyone probably already knows most of the specs. But in case not, here are some of the basic points:

· Spring rates are 350/250, Front/Rear.
· The strut’s bodies are shorted 1” for more travel.
· Non-adjustable valveing, because Progress has performed extensive testing on there in house Shock Dynamometer.
· Designed to use OEM upper spring perches.
· Compatible with Ground Control Camber plates (SEE BELOW **).
· Adjustable ride height.

Use of Ground Control Camber Plates New/Old

I have currently been in contact with Progress Technology about the problem of using the new style Ground Control camber plates. They are NOW carrying the adapters for both the New style plates and the Old style plates. So when you place your order just specify if you need either of the adapters.

Price Break Downs

The manufacture suggested retail for these coilovers is $1,499 US dollars. Unfortunately the price that I am able to get these to you for I can’t advertise. But if you email or Private Message me I will get back to you with the details on pricing and how the purchasing is being handled.

If we get TEN or more units sold the price will drop $50 dollars for every order after that, and the $50 dollars will be refunded to all those who have purchased there system before the ten units are sold.

· Shipping will be $30-50 depending on location (Local pickup available).

Availability and How Long After Purchase Will Items Be Shipped

I have double-checked the availability of this system and Progress has plenty of components to make the systems they just have to assemble them after the order has been put in. After your order has been collected, the time frame you would be looking at for delivery would be two to four weeks for assembling the system, and then however long for Progress to drop ship to your location.

When Sale Ends

I am planning on running this group buy for 2-4 weeks. I will keep an updated list of sales so everyone knows what the progresses of purchases are so we can get our $50 dollars back. If there is a high demand I might keep the Buy open longer.

I have talked to Progress. I don't know what Toolapcfan is complaining about. Once again i have talked to Progress they have no problem with our current group buy. Since we purchase so much product from progress we get them at a much much better deal than say a smaller shop or someone who just buys B13 parts. Even our website prices are less than his group buy, And we have never been told not to sell them for that price. I will not mention to whom i spoke with at Progress. or even what business i represent. This group buy is put on by BlackJack a personal friend of mine who i met at the shop. I came to Shandon thinking I could help out my fellow SE-R brothers get a good deal on something that they are all wanting to get. Seeing as how i used to drive a 91 Classic it's almost personal. thats all i'm trying to do is save SR20 members money, and in the meanwhile maybe make a few more friends/customers. . So yes, we are selling them much less than Toolapcfan. But we are also a multi-million dollar company. So there is nothing shady going on and nothing to worry about. One bit of information that might be important, Porgress said that they are waiting for some internal components for the coilovers. They assumed that the parts would be in alot sooner. But they are still waiting. So basically. everything is still good to go but no real ETA on when they are gettin the last component to finish up the coilovers. It's not a matter of what they're paying for them, it's that Progress has said, they're not to be sold for less than $1300. Plain and simple. But what do I know? I only talk with them a couple times a week, and have been working with them on this suspension since early last year.

I guess if you want to get them at a good price you just have to goto whoevers website and get it from them direct without a group buy... no one can lock down their site and stop them from selling the parts there for what they can sell them for... right? No wonder group buys get shot down here.
