The length of the shock (ride height) is adjustable by turning the lower mount which is threaded on the shock body. This does not affect the stroke of the shock so the full travel is available at all riding heights. The upper rings are tightened just enough that the spring cannot move when the weight is off the wheels. [The ride height should not be adjusted by compressing the springs.]
did any of you guys who bought the suspension alrerady have to adjust the springs at all or were they already adjusted? (in since the ride height is adjusted differently and all)
yes to custom rates..... no they dont change the dampening but it is adjustable by you... diameter I am not 100% sure but I will check saturday when I see my own or someone here can chime in
I was reading some of the threads on G20.net and it was mentioned that the p11 setup possibly uses a dual rate spring, do you know if thats the case? I'm a little leery that 10/7 is going to be too rough for the roads here.
they are progressive rates i believe. as for softer spring, u can only go +/- 2 kg so... ur lookin at 8/5 at the SOFTEST and even then they usually wont go lower than 6kg without LOSING warranty. so if u wanted 8/6 i guess u could. the b15 comes 8/7 and most ppl are fine with that.
