I have been cleared by Brian Hasty at FastBrakes ( www.fastbrakes.com ) to offer up a one-time Group Buy on their 11-inch, 4-piston brake kits for B13/14/15 and S13/14 chassis. This Group Buy is only for members of SR20forum, and is being offered just this one time; there are no promises of a round two.
Price: $650 shipped anywhere in the continental US of A. Additional options:
•The 11" 4 piston P10/P11 and S13/14 kits are included in this deal.
•Rear braided lines are available, $65/pair.
•Calipers are also available in Red for $140 extra. Polished calipers are $120 extra.
•Rotors for the B13/B14 kits will be the premium quality Racing Brake custom rotors I had made last year, same ones in the picture posted.
•Plain rotors are available take $50 off the price. ($600 shipped with plain rotors, in other words.)
Retail price on these kits are $725-750 PLUS shipping, which is easily another $25 as the boxes weigh about 35lbs. So, you are saving about $110 on this. Unbeatable!
What you get in the box (this box is a 240sx setup, and was shot in my living room, not a FastBrakes photo):
11-inch rotors, Wilwood Dynalite calipers, brackets to bolt to your hub, steel-braided brake lines, Hawk pads, and complete instructions.
This Group Buy will go for 30 days from today (August 5) and will end on September 5, 2006. Payment must be made in the form of a cashier's check or money order, as Paypal is NOT available due to the high fees on an item such as this. (Paypal would cost each participant an additional $18 x 2 = $36.)
We need a minimum of only 5 participants for this Group Buy. The best part is that I am one of the participants, so now we only need 4 more.
Please reply back to this thread with a firm commitment. I will then PM you my home mailing address to send the cashier's check or money order. If you have any reservations about buying from me, simply click on my iTrader rating under my screenname or search the Buyer/Seller Feedback forum: I have led two Group Buys in the past, and each went off flawlessly.
The order for the 11-inch, 4-piston kits will go to Brian at FastBrakes on September 5 and he will ship them out ASAP. All kits are in stock and ready to go!
Thanks for your interest, and I hope we can get as many of you guys/gals in FastBrakes kits through this GB. They really are fantastic brake setups.

is this will end if u got a 5 participants only or dont matter how many till sept 5???how many participants is maximum should be??think i got time to save up till sept. 5.
While I probably won't have the money for this, I have some questions:
1. For S13, is this kit made to work with the stock master cylinder? All you hear about with Q45 and Z32 brakes is that the proportioning/biasing gets funny, lousy pedal feel, etc.
2. What do they say about wheel fitment? Will this kit fit under stock wheels?
3. What's the replacement cost for the pads like, and how difficult is the pad swap?

Someone else will have to answer this, as I'm only familiar with Street Modified rules.

There is no maximum number of buyers on this...the more the merrier.

Mine, too. I already have a setup for my 240 sitting in the living room, and will be adding another for the SE-R. I feel your pain.

1. You can use the stock MC, Kent. However, it will be biased even more towards the front brakes. A lot of guys (B13) go with Altima MCs, from what I hear.
2. Needs a 15" wheel to clear the calipers. Your 16" K1s will clear beautifully.
3. Replacement costs for pads are very reasonable. It opens you up to an entirely different lineup of brake pad compounds. More selection. Swapping pads literally takes 5 minutes, if that. Just pull the cotter pin and swap. Ask Jason S. how easy they are to change.
3. What's the replacement cost for the pads like, and how difficult is the pad swap?
I can answer #3 since I have used these calipers for the past 2 years. Basically a pair of polymatrix street pads would cost you $45 roughly and track pads are around $70-$90 depending on the type and where you get them from.
As for replacing the pads, it is quite easy, pull one cotter pin, pull old pads, insert new pads, and replace cotter pin
*edit* damn't GP beat me to it

well from what i have read in previous forms they do fit under b14 rims the 15's anyway. are the rotors cryo treated? and is there selection in caliper color?even if not i am in... although it will take a week to get the money together
You need a spacer (5mm?) to run the 11" kit with B14 SE-R wheels, according to Eric Waterman. The caliper hits the spokes.
Still...it'd be a low-price way to run a 11" brake setup AND remain NYC stealthy, Strat.
your right my friend. sad thing is i have so much money invested into the 6 nx rims that i own. 4 freshly powdercoated with azeni's and 2 powdercoated also with brand new bfgs'.
i am going to consider buying this kit for the hell of it. cause like i said i do need the stopping power and brake fade is no good.
not a fan of the b14s on nx's.
but the brake package would be nice to have around and its a good price. one day ill have aftermarket rims (f'ing ny !)
Is there an option for a 12.5" or so two-piece rotor for the 240SX items? With the current configuration you are basically paying $650 for 300ZX front brakes, granted the calipers are new.
Can someone confirm for me that this kit will fit a B13 with 15x7 Kosei K1's? From what I've read I'm about 99% certain that it will, I just want to be absolutely positive. Greg, you have a PM.
