I know you are good with chassis stuff, what would you suggest? Maybe welding if you have access?

i think that welding the brace to the core support is probably the best way to go, if you do have if welded then i would suggest having the two overlapped pieces of the cor support welded together also.
As an alternate idea, I also notice that there's a round hole in the frame right by the front mount. Is it large enough to pass a nut through with your finger? If not, maybe we could just enlarge that hole enough to get a nut on the other side of the mount.

Damn, now I have another item to consider when rebuilding my Classic. The fenders are already off the car. LOL. Lemme go count my "repair funds."

I have to get my front end welded/fixed anyways, had already planned on installation of an IKEA brace while the car was at the body shop. I suppose I could have the overlapped peice welded, and this brace welded into place all at the same time.
Question:
Would Foam Sealing that structure, the portion under the fender, that goes down the front end horizontally, be a good idea? It appears that the entire section could be foam sealed after installing this brace.
Chassis stiffening goodness.
Any breakdown or repair is an opportunity to upgrade.

seems easy enough to build, wish i had the time to do what you are!.. open question, why did you add a 3rd bar to connect the plates by the door hinge? or a gussett at the meeting point at the fender?

2. Would it be possible to pass a nut through the hole in the frame that's just forward of the front mount? If it's not big enough, could the hole just be enlarged enough to get nuts on the back of the bolts?
Other than that, those finished bars look really good.

you could enlarge the hole, but i didnt want to remove any metal from core support, so i didnt.
im assuming the finished product for sale will look a bit more professional like the ones in the first post .... also in a powdercoat finish with all hardware....
