GB: KARTBOY Polyurethane Exhaust Bushings

INFORMATION AND SPECS:
  • Not too much of a discount but worth a try. This group buy is for 3 KARTBOY Polyurethane Exhaust 10mm Bushings in black only. Not sure the hole size with the other cars beside the B13 since I have them on my car, so research please. I will update the list everyday for those who are interested and paid.

Payment and Group Buy is CLOSED.

PRICING AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10 + people buy-in.
  • For 3 Bushings they are $22.00 SHIPPED pre-sale. (If you want more add 7 dollars per item.)
  • They are normally $8.00 each not including shipping.
  • NOTE: Mind that the B13 exhaust comes with 6 exhaust bushings, two where the cat is, 1 in the middle and 3 in the rear. I only did the rear of my car and my exhaust does not move at all. So its entirely up to you whether you want to run 3 or 6 bushings. If I can not get 10 or more people then I will refund everyone’s money to be fair which hopefully that will not happen. Items will begin shipping the following week for those who paid.

PAYMENT AND SHIPPING INFORMATION:
  • Paypal $22.00 SHIPPED (for a quantity of 3).
  • Additional bushings add $7.00. Payment can be sent to grabon_biz@hotmail.com.
  • (Paypal and ship fees already added for your convenience). Any other form of payments please pm me. No pickup available.

Funnny this comes up now, I just installed a set I had laying around off my Evo and they worked very well. I might have to think about ordering 3 more for the cat mounts.

I swapped out mines from the down pipe all the way through to the muffer with #10's. Replacing the two by the cat are a pta to do. It does not create any clearance issues if you have a 2.5 down pipe. I dunno what kind of clearnce issues you may incur for all you guys all there with 3 exhaust piping.

Do you need to mod these in any way to work with the b13? My 3" pipe likes to bang into the frame of the car whenever I make a sharp turn.

I went on kartboys website. They have subaru, mazda, and mitsu exhaust hanger products. Which ones are you using for the b13 application?

Dude these would solve your problems.
No modification is necessary. You may want to research on the size hanger you will need (#10 or #12?)

are these shorter in length? my cheap ass ssa header points my hks catback at a weird angle. i need shorter/stiffer hangers to pull it away from my rear sway bar.

Yep, much shorter over oem hangers.
Have the same ssa header, no issues w/hangers.
These hangers are stiff as brick. I had clearance issues with my progress lca and my ssa header. Suffering a 5mm clearance. Swapped hangers, solved problem, no downpipe banging on the lca.

^^ yes they are shorter than oem. I can take a picture for you guys the comparision later today if that will provide a benefit to the community.

Personally, I use a 10mm since the 12mm was too big for the exhaust hangers. Upon putting the 10mm, nothing move. I have a 3 inch VRS Kit from a group buy here. Before, every bump i hit the exhaust hit the chassis thus resulting in buying a set, now nothing moves. down there.

Im going to order another set for my other car as well. =P

Yes kartboy does not mention nissan because they were built for the subies, mazda, etc... but many people use them on other applications and they work.

I would really like some of these.
Anybody know how many are used on B14 2.0?
I just need to decide how many I will purchase.

^^^^ I would like to say between 6-8.
2 near the down pipe.
2 by the cat
1 after the cat?
2 for the muffler
I'll try and post some pics of mines over the weekend. Too bad they stop making the pink ones! 1810 sorry for intruding again, but the product is an excellent one and the guys @ kartboy are super cool. For some reason, my exhaust actually became louder upon changing the hangers, similar to the louder engine noises upon inserting the prothane mm's. Not a bad sound but a good one.

I've been under the car many times this past week, and I am being lazy by asking how many they are. I was really hoping to not work on the car tonight.

Without Jacking up the car, I gave a quick peek underneath and checked the FSM.
For the B14, there are 3 on the muffler alone, 1 between the muf and the cat and 2 for the cat. I'm not 100% positive, but that might be all of them.
Grand Total 6.
Now the question, should I replace some or all of them. I hate to waste money and have these things laying around.

You might as well do them all at the same time.
The two by the cat is going to be a bitch to do though.
If I remember correctly I changed out all of mines with the exception of the second one for the muffler. I shorted ordered one.
Bump! Common people, this is a great product!!
If you loved your Prothane mm's you love these.

I don't currently use Prothane MM's although I would like to replace mine at some point. I don't like the buzz induced with hard MM's when at idle.

So my fear is inducing a lot of buzz through the exhaust.

I do want to balance the buzz and the exhaust movement.

I did not notice any increase in buzz from my exhaust after installing these. Just alot less movement which should be less noise.

I will order some if it looks like the gb will go through.
