Chassis Bracing, TMS Introductory Group buy

First of all this group buy has the approval of Matt Hunt.

Truax MotorSports announces it's introductory group buy for our new chassis bracing system, some call subframes connectors. This is for the B15 Sentra. To be honest these were a pain to make and develop. We sell a similar product for the Nissan Maxima. See all the posts on Maxima.org regarding them. They have been a big hit there and we expect the same here. They willl be featured in Nissan Sport Magazine in the future on their modded B15.

Here are the details:

1. The introductory price is $250 + 35 shipping. Expect it to increase to $300 once the sale is over. We are running this sale for 6 weeks.

2. We will be making them in batches. They require much work and it is far easier to cut and weld several at a time. Once we have 5 buyers we will then tell you to email your payment to paypal @ truaxmotorsports@gmail.com

3. Once purchased, we expect delivery time to be around 2 weeks. We ship via Fed EX, so that means you must incluse a complete street address, no po boxes, and you must include a telephone #.

4. No limit in # to be sold but we want to be clear just like we did with the Maxima boys, we are selling in small batches for a reason. We don't want to promise to deliver them in 1 week but instead it is 2 weeks.

Here are a few threads that the Maxima.org boys have posted.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....sfc+sfcs+truax

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....sfc+sfcs+truax

A breif search will find many more.

These are weld on application only on a 4 post hoist. The car must be loaded with weight on the wheels. If you weld them on with the wheels off the floor your car doors may not close. We will include install sheets. Once a few guys have these on, there will be threads on this forum that will be helpful.

We will check here to reply to your questions or you can email us @ truaxmotorsports@gmail.com

The b13 is an older car and being in minnesota makes it difficult to find a prototype worthy car without alot of rust. But we have not ruled out making some up for the b13s so please hang in there with us.

Would be very interested in a set for a B14. I know it's a long shot getting them made, but thought I'd at least ask.

i made a thread in the mid west section a few days ago. make one for the b13 and thse will sell like hot cakes!

excuse the ignorance but;

if you make a weld on application for the b13 and i were to put my car on a 2 post lift (wheels off the ground) and my door opens/closes Aok on the lift in the air...........wont it still be the same once the brace is installed/welded on? just curious

i have access to both 2 and 4 post lifts. im just wondering about that.

also, i saw the work you did on (i think) a miata, useing pieces that bolt over the stock frame rails. just an FYI, for the b13 i think that would be a bad design because its rare that i have seen a b13 with 100% perfect frame rails lol.

We arnt the guys that made the miata brace. We have produced braces for a range of cars though and have many still in the prototype stage.( Im actually in the shop as I type this working on some bracing for the newer ford focus.

A big reason for us to make a weld in application is due to imperfect rails Its understandable stuff happens on the road.

As far as a two post and four post lift goes for install we recommend a four post but haven't noticed many ill side effects of using a two post. Although it could slighty shift the alignment. (not much but its possible)

We are currently working on getting a b13 in here and as soon as we do I can figure more out on what the design will be like. I never go into a project with a closed mind on how something has to be and generally change ideas from model to model using the same basic principals of the most efficient mounting locations for the tabs, as well as what type of bracing would give the biggest and best results with ground clearance and overall weight and replication in mind. So sometimes it takes several sessions with a car to come up with a prototype.

Thanks for all the interest,

Sean Truax

The b15 braces are on and we had intial rave reviews from MN01GXE. We hope to have his review posted in 24 hours or so on the b15sentre.net site. We will be posting his reviews here as well. They took Sean less than 2 hours to install and he really took his time.
We are working with a MN guy who has a b13. Hope to get him into the shop soon.

B13 needed

Guy's we have tried unsuccessfully to get a reliable B13 owner here to prototype. Would someone please step up to the plate? If we can't find a car we plan on moving on. This is an older car (although very sweet) with limited following. So, if you live in MN or can get here and make a date you can stick to, please write us @ truaxmotorsports@gmail.com

MN_SR20 has stepped up to the plate. Apparently he is out of state at school and will be returning over Thanksgiving break. We plan to hook up with him then. It may take only 4-5 hours but with a few cars we have needed 2 days.
We will keep all posted.

chassis brace

http://www.sr20forum.com/chassis-sus...-pictures.html

As soon as we can get a B13 guy into our garage we will have a brace system for the B13. We do have a MN guy, MN_SR20 who has traded a few emails. He is supposed to be home from out of state school in a couple of days, over Thanksgiving break. We can get his car in, just waitng to hear from him.

We will keep you all posted.
